Powerful arm and bucket forces fueled by superior hydraulics provide enhanced performance when digging, loading trucks and more. Strong swing torque and a heavy-duty axle deliver superior performance.

The modular design allows you to easily configure the machine with four independent outriggers, or a front dozer blade and independent rear outriggers. This makes leveling, backfilling material with the dozer blade, or stabilizing the machine during digging applications easier.

Four power modes give operators better control over performance and help them manage fuel usage and machine power for each task.

Activate the tilt rotator mode on -7 Series wheel excavators for enhanced precision when using a tiltrotator accessory. Simply set the controls from the Smart Touch display to efficiently and accurately move the arm and rotate or tilt an attachment simultaneously. You can quickly place objects, dig trenches or contour backfill without the need to reposition the excavator.

A new priority valve allows the use of mulcher and grass cutter attachments.

An optional trailer-ready feature enables the excavator to pull a 5- to 10-ton trailer to improve jobsite versatility.

Exclusive Smart Power Control (SPC) manages the variable speed control and pump torque control systems to maintain productivity and improve efficiency.
The Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) monitors and optimizes machine performance while reducing fuel consumption. These models also include engine auto shutdown and auto idle features to help further reduce fuel usage.

The powerful equipment diagnostic telematics system is standard on -7 Series wheel excavator models. The DEVELON Fleet Management system monitors the location, health and productivity of your wheel excavator from an easy-to-use website or mobile app. It makes it easy to monitor and maintain your excavator and helps you prevent theft, avoid unauthorized use, track machine operation data and remember when maintenance is due. 

With DEVELON wheel excavators, comfort features aren’t optional — you get more standard features that help you attract and keep top operators. The large cab offers low noise and vibrations, more floor space and an excellent viewing area through front, side, rear and overhead windows. A standard rearview camera provides an additional view of the excavator’s surroundings — key when working in congested, confined work areas. The cab also includes an automotive-style heating and air conditioning system featuring high-capacity vents and automatic temperature control. An optional heated/cooled seat adds another level of temperature control.

Easy-to-use controls help operators excel at their work. The multilingual Smart Touch display and joysticks offer intuitive control when operating the machine and attachments. From the touch screen, operators can monitor critical machine functions and control machine settings, rearview camera, heating and cooling, radio, Bluetooth® wireless technology and more.
