The travel motor and transmission control in the driveline provide comfortable travel thanks to increased smoothness and improved braking and gear shifting.

The standard Auto Hold brake system automatically engages the outboard service brakes when the machine stops to improve operator comfort and machine productivity.

The fine swing function helps improve operator accuracy and reduces shock from swing starts and stops.

The optional Load Isolation System engages automatically at 3.1 mph (5 Km/h) to reduce attachment and machine bouncing when driving on uneven road surfaces.

Powerful arm and bucket forces fueled by superior hydraulics provide enhanced performance when digging, loading trucks and more. Strong swing torque and a heavy-duty axle deliver superior performance.

The modular design allows you to easily configure the machine with four independent outriggers, or a front dozer blade and independent rear outriggers. This makes leveling, backfilling material with the dozer blade, or stabilizing the machine during digging applications easier.

Activate the tilt rotator mode on -7 Series wheel excavators for enhanced precision when using a tiltrotator accessory. Simply set the controls from the Smart Touch display to efficiently and accurately move the arm and rotate or tilt an attachment simultaneously. You can quickly place objects, dig trenches or contour backfill without the need to reposition the excavator.

An optional trailer-ready feature enables the excavator to pull a 5- to 10-ton trailer to improve jobsite versatility.
