Horsepower and Torque

The DEVELON DL380-7 packs more horsepower and 7% larger bucket capacity than previous models to make your work easier. Axle upgrades allow you to carry and lift larger bucket capacities, and the strengthened box frame is designed for better balance and improved lifting capacity. The high-lift option provides additional height for loading into high-sided trucks. Standard Ride Control improves stability when moving — for even higher productivity.

The DL380-7 includes a powershift 4-speed transmission, multiple power modes, Z-bar lift arm, return to dig and limited slip differentials. The improved cooling system features wider radiator fin spacing and a reversible fan to clear debris and reduce clogging.

Built Tougher

The DL380-7 is redesigned and reinforced for maximum durability and reliability. Features include stronger axles and wider radiator fin spacing to quickly clear debris, minimizing machine downtime. The hydraulically driven reversible fan, reinforced box frame with an articulating design and large center driveline bearings and self-centering, double-tapered roller bearings help the DL380-7 stand up to punishing work for years. Outboard brakes are located in final reduction where the rotation speed is lower, greatly extending the lifetime of the brake discs.

Built for Operators

A long list of cab improvements helps enhance productivity and safety and reduce operator stress. The redesigned cab features more leg room, improved visibility (including 14% more glass area) and a standard rearview camera. Relocated controls are within easy reach and more intuitive to use. The DEVELON Smart Touch screen displays all important settings and information, including the view from the rearview camera. From the screen, operators can monitor critical machine functions and control machine settings, heating and cooling, the DEVELON Smart Guidance System and more.

The exclusive standard Transparent Bucket option provides a supplemental visual perspective by allowing operators to “see-through” the bucket from an in-cab display.

The DEVELON Smart Key fob unlocks the cab and allows push-button engine starts.

Easy Maintenance

Excellent durability, centrally located maintenance points, onboard diagnostic systems and easy component access deliver low-effort maintenance and long-lasting performance. Self-diagnostics allow you to monitor critical systems in real time plus access historical machine alerts right from the DEVELON Smart Touch screen.

Use MY DEVELON fleet management, a powerful equipment diagnostic tool, to monitor your DEVELON equipment from a user-friendly mobile app and website. Check machine location, fleet status, operating hours, error codes, fuel usage, engine idle vs. work time, engine and hydraulic oil temperature and various other data points.

Fuel Efficiency

Situation Awareness Technology (SAT) helps save fuel by automatically adjusting the engine output in real-time to the needs of the drivetrain and hydraulics.

Automatic transmission modes shift gears to maximize efficiency. The standard auto-idle feature reduces engine rpm when the steering wheel or joystick isn’t being used, and auto-shutdown turns off the engine after a set amount of time idling.

To comply with Tier 4 emissions standards, the DL380-7 incorporates a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system as well as cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR), combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).
