Compared to a radial lift arm design, the vertical lift arm configuration of a DEVELON compact track loader extends its reach forward, making it easier to deposit materials into high-sided trucks, bins, agriculture mixers and other elevated locations. Combined with top-of-the-line horsepower, the machine offers a larger lifting capacity and impressive dump reach to help you work more efficiently across job sites and applications.

Snow removal and land clearing often require additional power. So in addition to continuous hydraulic flow and auxiliary high-flow piping, the high-flow hydraulics on our compact track loaders (standard on US30 and US31) provide a stronger supply of power to hydraulic attachments for a steadier, smoother operation.

Electric-over-hydraulic controls deliver better maneuverability and responsiveness by offering more precise control over the compact track loader’s movements, especially when grading or hauling. Plus, the ride control feature reduces vibrations and minimizes bucket spillage when navigating rough terrain while carrying full loads.

To extend the life of your compact track loader, a reversible fan protects against dust and debris, keeping the machine’s engine cleaner and cooler. The PowerCore air filter with separate filtration stages more effectively traps and removes contaminants, such as dust, dirt and debris, to prolong the engine’s lifespan.

The one-piece cab design minimizes the number of joints and seams, resulting in a more robust and durable cab that can withstand heavy-duty work environments. The cab tilts up for easy access to the engine and internal components, simplifying maintenance tasks.

It starts as soon as you enter through the large standard polycarbonate swing-out door. The large glass with narrower A-pillars helps you clearly see the terrain, and the pressurized cab reduces dust and lowers noise levels.

An air-suspension heated seat and standard torsion suspension absorb shocks and vibrations, reducing the impact of bumps and rough terrain. Air-filled cushions adjust to your weight and movements, providing a smoother and more comfortable ride, especially over uneven ground.

A compact track loader (CTL) differs from a skid-steer loader in its undercarriage system. A CTL is designed with rubber tracks, while a skid-steer loader uses wheels for mobility. One main difference between a CTL and a skid-steer loader is that CTLs typically have superior traction and stability on challenging terrain. CTLs are generally better suited for working in mud, snow or on hills/slopes. Both machines offer versatility through various attachments to maximize their productivity on construction sites.

Regular checks for compact track loader (CTL) maintenance include engine oil levels, hydraulic fluid, coolant and filters. Perform daily greasing recommendations to extend the life of the CTL. Additionally, inspect the loader’s undercarriage and maintain the proper track tension. It’s vital to clean the undercarriage for optimum performance. Follow the recommended maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual to minimize machine downtime. Options for compact track loaders may vary depending on size of the machine. DEVELON offers two track patterns: multi-bar and block pattern. These are available in a wide or narrow option, to best match your needs. For enhanced safety, consider an around view monitor (AVM) camera system for improved operator visibility of the job site. Additional options for CTLs may include high-flow auxiliary hydraulics to operate attachments, including brush cutters and snowblowers. An optional 300-lb. additional counterweight is available for the DTL35 compact track loader for improved machine lifting and hauling capacity.  

Compact track loaders are designed to protect operators from injuries. Compact track loader safety features include rollover protection structures (ROPS), seat belts and falling object protective structures (FOPS).
