A tough machine starts with strong components. That’s why each DEVELON material handler is designed for long life with a sturdy frame and reinforced upper structure. Thicker guarding on the undercarriage improves component protection to the drive motors.

In tough material handling environments, machine protection keeps your machine on working on schedule. Optional features on select models include cab guarding, frame guards, solid tires, and rotating beacons.

Cooling is an important part of machine uptime. That's why select models include a variable speed fan, and a split cooling system, which utilizes both hydraulic oil and engine coolant. Additionally, on select models, a variable speed hydraulic cooling fan regulates airflow through the oil cooler. This increased cooling capacity allows the engine to run more efficiently.

Larger machines feature separate engine and oil cooling systems, each with its own cooling fan. On select models a variable speed hydraulic cooling fan, the cooling system is allowed to operate at its optimum temperature to increase efficiency.

Monitor your DEVELON equipment and manage maintenance to reduce operating costs with DEVELON telematics. A three-year subscription is standard on material handler models. DEVELON telematics provides location information and a full range of machine operational information to owners, their dealer and DEVELON. Information is displayed through a simple user interface, accessible on a web enabled device.

The pressurized cab keeps the operator environment clean, while sound suppression keeps machine noise low to reduce operator fatigue.

From the moment you step into the cab, you’ll see more of your work. There’s better visibility to the attachments and work area thanks the material handler cab riser. Standard fixed risers on have a maximum height range of 4 ft. or 6 ft. on select models. Hydraulic risers on select models have a maximum height of 6.5 ft.

A reclining, height and weight-adjustable air suspension seat offers better lumbar support and includes a headrest and adjustable armrest. High-performance air conditioning offers adjustable airflow and five operating modes. A rear view camera gives the operator additional means to view the machine's surroundings allowing for increased productivity.

Easy-to-operate joystick controls make precise machine movements easy, while additional buttons are available for control of equipment such as a grapple or magnet. Select models feature an easy-to-read 7 in. monitor that displays critical machine information including engine coolant temperature, fuel level and hydraulic oil temperature. It also includes the digital engine RPM and 15 different machine warnings. to maximize material handler and attachment performance, operators can select up to 10 pre-defined attachments from the LCD monitor, ensuring that proper flow and pressure are programmed correctly.
