Designed for Forestry Work

Combining strength and precision, the DEVELON DX300LL-7 log loader is ready for all-day forestry work.

With increased lift capacity, the DX300LL-7 can pick up heavier logs with ease. The fine swing feature minimizes unwanted movement when working with heavy loads, enhancing control and precision.

A fully guarded, heavy-duty undercarriage and upper structure are designed specifically for forestry applications. Reinforced front guarding protects against debris and obstacles. Tracks feature heavy-duty links with double grouser shoes and full-length track guiding guards.

The radiator with reverse fan comes standard and automatically helps prevent debris buildup. It also keeps the cooling system clean, which increases engine uptime.

Safety and Transport

The upper structure offers mainframe reinforcement, full under-house plate guarding, integral catwalks, heavy-duty side doors with guarding over the hydraulic pump and cooling system access doors, and undercarriage guarding.

The cab features a 4-foot riser with reinforced guarding and 90-degree hydraulic tilt for transport. Other design innovations include an improved heel design and improved front, boom and cab guards.

The optional side-entry forestry cab is certified for Oregon OSHA and British Columbia WCB standards. It also features a guarded polycarbonate front window and polycarbonate side and rear windows. For added protection, optional 32-mm polycarbonate glass is available.

Standard LED front and rear working lights help you spot obstacles when in low light, before sunrise or after sunset.

Work Comfortably

The intelligently designed world-class cab offers superior comfort, low noise levels and excellent visibility to help you stay focused on the job. A larger door opening, more foot space and automatic air conditioning with adjustable airflow create a roomy, comfortable environment.

The standard heated and cooled air-suspension seat is height-, weight- and recline-adjustable, with an integrated headrest and adjustable armrest.

Convenient, easy-to-use controls, along with a built-in radio and Bluetooth audio, help make long days feel shorter.

Fuel Savings

To help save diesel fuel, auto-shutdown comes standard. When enabled, the feature will shut down the loader’s engine when the preset idle time is met. Operators can configure the idle time from 3 to 60 minutes.

Optimum Power

The high-pressure common rail fuel injected engine teams with the EPOS (Electronic Power Optimizing System) for optimum power and fuel savings. The EPOS provides four work modes, auto-idle and machine diagnostics. It works more effectively with multiple operating modes, easy to read display and precise control levers. The convenient one-touch power boost button on the right-hand joystick provides a momentary hydraulic boost when more lifting power is needed.

A standard 8-inch color LCD screen provides helpful maintenance and monitoring information. It displays video from the standard rearview and side-mounted cameras, which are uniquely placed to give you better visibility. A hybrid screen mode enables you to see machine information and the camera at the same time.

Simplified Maintenance

Extended maintenance intervals and easy access to service points increase machine uptime and productivity. Examples include centralized grease points, wide side access doors for cleaning the cooling system and boom pivot bushings with extended greasing intervals. A large-capacity engine air precleaner removes more than 99% of airborne particles and extends filter cartridge service life.

The radiator with reverse fan comes standard and automatically helps prevent debris buildup. It also keeps the cooling system clean, which increases engine uptime.

Tier 4 Technology

To reach Tier 4 emissions standards, models incorporate a high-pressure common-rail fuel delivery system with cooled exhaust gas recirculation. Models also include a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) and mass air flow sensor.

Additionally, an exhaust brake is combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) to transform particulate matter emissions into harmless water and carbon dioxide. Other technologies include an evaporative module, selective catalyst reduction (SCR) and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Read about our Tier 4 technologies.

Road Builder Features

The DEVELON DX300LL-7 provides the best possible view from inside the cab. A clear line of sight gives you a better view of the forward and surrounding areas. Narrow cab pillars provide less obstructed views while standard rearview and side cameras provide a full view of surroundings.
