Why DEVELON?

The biggest thing we like about DEVELON is reliability and the easy maintenance. It’s very nice to be able to open up one of the side doors and have all your filters in one spot.

Favorite Project

We harvested a 10-acre section of Stossel Creek, a government-owned “forest for the future” 30 miles outside Seattle. This forest supports both recreation and logging, with replanting scheduled within three years to ensure continued growth.

Best Piece of Advice

My parents encouraged me to pursue an education after high school, and I attended a technical school and earned welding certifications.

Shane’s Machines
In tough timber, Shane depends on two trusty DEVELON DX300LL log loaders, which offer the precision, and durability he needs. “A good machine is reliable. You get here in the morning, start it up and it’s going to work all day,” says Jeff Hiett, Shane’s dad and company co-owner.
