It happens only once every three years and is the construction industry’s largest trade show. Welcome to CONEXPO-CON/AGG.
The 2023 edition of CONEXPO occurs March 13 – 18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There will be more than 1,800 exhibitors located across 2.7 million square feet. You can choose from 175 education sessions to learn new information and skills or make new connections.
With so much to explore, it's important to have a plan to ensure that you make the most of your visit. Senior Marketing Manager Alice Banach shares advice for how to maximize your trip to CONEXPO.
Plan Ahead for CONEXPO
It goes without saying that planning ahead is a must for a construction industry trade show of this magnitude.
See what’s happening at CONEXPO, including educational opportunities, a list of exhibitors and show highlights on the CONEXPO website. Also keep an eye out for the 2023 official CONEXPO app to help you plan your visit.
Registering ahead of time will allow you to avoid long lines before the show opens. Show admission starts at $249 and provides access to the trade show booths. Educational sessions will be an additional fee.
CONEXPO maps are readily available before the show starts. Use these maps to plot your course through the convention center and the outdoor Festival Grounds area, where you will find our new booth: F9153. Learn about our new brand, see the latest new equipment and technology, and watch our Concept-X2 autonomous construction equipment in action. See what else is planned for our booth here.
Several forms of transportation are available to help you get to the convention center from your hotel. Give yourself extra time due to the expected large crowds at this year’s trade show. And make sure to pack comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle — both are a must at CONEXPO.
Map Out Booth Visits
It can get hot in Las Vegas in March. Schedule your outdoor booth visits in the morning; then move inside to the air conditioning for the afternoon. The show opens at 9 a.m. each day and ends at 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Make a list of business questions before you visit exhibitors. Bring along a notebook to take notes or plan to request additional information from exhibitors by scanning your badge. A backpack is helpful if you plan to pick up literature or spec sheets in the booths. Don’t forget a charger to keep your phone powered up for taking pictures and scanning QR codes.
Before you leave the booth, ask for the name of the equipment dealer located in your area. You can request that your local dealer contact you after the show with more information, to schedule a demo or give you a price quote on a machine.
Stay Connected After the Show
Attending CONEXPO is only the beginning. After the show ends, stay connected with exhibitors and the CONEXPO show through social media or email. Follow your favorite brands to get the latest information about new products and technologies.
In today’s digital era, there are so many ways to stay connected to the construction industry and continue learning about new technologies. You can even listen to podcasts from CONEXPO-CON/AGG when you’re operating equipment or driving to your next job site.
